The composer and arranger Willi März knows the characteristics of the tuba and knows how to stage it effectively. The Divertimento with harp and orchestra, for example, presents itself some times light-footedly, then again lyrically expressive and surprises with the tuba’s flexibility. Again and again the tuba enters into dialogue with the harp, where by this apparently so contradictory duo complements each other perfectly.
