The Staatsphilharmonie Nürnberg ist he largest orchestra of the metropolitan region of Nuremberg and the second largest opera and concert orchestra in Bavaria. Since 2011 the orchestra’s General Music Director has been Marcus Bosch who is attracting new audiences with a range of innovative concert formats. He has begun a new series with the complete recording of the symphonies of Antonín Dvořák which has met with enthusiastic response from critics. This live-recording features Dvořák’s Symphony No. 6 and Dvořák’s first symphonic poem the Water Goblin.
